Modern Italian Perfumery: Meo Fusciuni. Perfumaria Italiana Moderna: Meo Fusciuni

 

Meo Fusciuni. Provavelmente ainda não ouviram falar desta nova linha de perfumes. Mas garanto que quem esta por trás da marca é o perfumista italiano (ou deveria dizer “siciliano”) muito sorridente, carismático, jovem e talentoso, Giuseppe Imprezzabile. Aliás, Giuseppe não gosta de ser chamado de perfumista, mas sim, de “aromatario”. Ele é formado em farmácia e técnicas herbais, não em perfumaria. Mas há controvérsias, sendo que algumas pessoas da indústria do perfume já estão o considerando um dos melhores “perfumistas” da perfumaria moderna italiana. Ele também se considera um poeta e através da arte da perfumaria expressa suas emoções.  Sua primeira coleção criada em 2009 é feita de ingredientes naturais e foi inspirada em suas viagens a Istambul, Marrocos e Sicilia. E seu último lançamento de 2012 se chama “Notturno”.

Conheci Giuseppe em Florença na exposição Pitti Fragranze este ano. Aliás, devo um pedido de desculpa a Giuseppe. Fiquei de encontrá-lo no final da exposição para levar as amostras de seus perfumes e acabei não indo pois voltamos para França mais cedo do que planejamos. Então aqui vai: “Giuseppe, desculpe por não ter te encontrado no Domingo no final da exposição para levar seus “testers”!!! Foi muita generosidade de sua parte oferecer.” Mas o aroma de seus quatro perfumes estão em minha memória. Principalmente Notturno.

Quanto aos seus quatro perfumes todos unisex e disponíveis em EDT e EDP:

1# nota di viaggio (rites de passage): Dedicado a Istambul, é uma fragrância chipre composta de notas cítricas, pimenta, notas florais e base de pachuli, incenso, sândalo, vetiver e benjoim.

2# nota di viaggio (shukran): Este é dedicado a Marrocos, é bastante fresco e aromático com notas de hortelã e tabaco.

3# nota di viaggio (ciavuru d’amuri): Já este é inspirado na Sicilia. Com notas de figo, jasmim e incenso.

Notturno: Este perfume é especial, intenso, denso. Tem caráter próprio, estilo. Nasceu na noite e da noite se alimenta com suas notas contrastantes de rum, um pouco adocicado de frutas e flores brancas para depois se transformar em um impecável quente, seco, amadeirado.

A arte de cada perfumista independente como Giuseppe deve cada vez mais ser apreciada e respeitada, pois por trás de suas criações está a verdadeira arte da perfumaria. Criações que vem da alma e paixão de cada artista e não de um GC (gás cromatografia). Criações que nascem livres para voar, sem restrições de um briefing. Criações que só respeitam uma opinião: a do seu próprio criador.

Meo Fusciuni. Probably you have not heard of this new line of perfumes yet. But I guarantee that who is behind the brand is an Italian perfumer (or should I say "Sicilian") smiley, charismatic, young and talented, Giuseppe Imprezzabile. Interesting enough, Giuseppe does not like being called a perfumer, but instead, an "Aromatario." He graduated in pharmacy and herbal techniques, not in perfumery. But there is controversy, because some people from the perfumery industry are already considering him one of the best "noses" of modern Italian perfumery. He also considers himself a poet and through the art of perfumery he can express his emotions. His first collection created in 2009 is made from natural ingredients and was inspired by his travels to Istanbul, Morocco and Sicily. And his last release in 2012 is called "Notturno".

I met Giuseppe in Florence at Pitti Fragranze exhibition this year. By the way, I own Giuseppe an apology. I was supposed to meet him at the end of the exhibition to bring with me some samples of his perfumes home but I did not. I ended up leaving back to France earlier than expected. So here goes: "Giuseppe, sorry for not meeting you on Sunday at the end of the exhibition to get the “testers". It was very generous of you to offer them. "But the scent of his four fragrances is in my memory. Mainly Notturno.

As for its four unisex scents, available in EDT and EDP:

1 # note di viaggio (rites de passage): Dedicated to Istanbul, is a chypre fragrance composed of citrus notes, pepper, floral notes and base of patchouli, incense, sandalwood, vetiver and benzoin.

2 # note di viaggio (shukran): This is dedicated to Morocco, is very fresh and aromatic with notes of mint and tobacco.

3 # note di viaggio (ciavuru d'amuri): Inspired in Sicily. Notes of fig, jasmine and incense.

Notturno: This perfume is especially intense, dense. It has its own character, style. Born in the night and from the night it feeds itself with its contrasting notes of rum, sweetness from fruits and white flowers. At the end, it turns into a flawless warm, dry, woody.

The art of each independent perfumer such as Giuseppe must increasingly appreciated and respected, because behind their creations is the true art of perfumery. Creations that come from the soul and passion of each artist and not from a GC (gas chromatography). Creations that are born free to fly without restrictions of a briefing. Creations that only respect one opinion: the creator's.
